If you’re planning a kid or adult Valentine’s Day party, we have some great DIY decorating ideas that are sure to be a success without breaking the bank.
With sparkly red tulle, red & pink glitter hearts, heart sticks, glitter card stock paper, heart doilies, textured red ribbon, plastic or cloth table-cover, heart foams, fake roses, 2 mason jars, Valentine stick balloon, balloon weight or cellophane, fun centerpiece (fake rose ball, candied vase, or fresh flowers), you can host a fabulous Valentine’s Day party, too!

Let’s get started with the Valentine’s center piece since this will be the focal point of your table. Depending on the type of party, you can create a fake rose ball centerpiece, candied vase, or have a fresh flower bouquet. To create a fake rose ball centerpiece, you’ll need about 5 bushels of fake roses, a small foam ball, heart foam pieces, and fabric or hot glue.Take the fake roses and apply a little hot or fabric glue to a fake rose and press it down into the foam ball. Do this until the entire foam ball is covered with fake roses. For an extra added touch, add strips of sparkly red tulle.

If you’re having a kids party, a candied vase would be another sweet touch. You’ll need a vase, Valentine stick balloon, red ribbon, cellophane, glittered heart sticks, 5 plastic or wooden sticks, 4-5 chocolate bars of choice, and tape. Tape the chocolate bars on each of the plastic or wooden sticks, add the cellophane or a balloon weight, next the Valentine stick balloon, and finish it with the red ribbon around the vase. Voila, your candied vase is complete!
Once the center piece is completed, use heart doilies as place mats, create a Valentine banner by cutting heart shapes with glitter stock paper and stringing it together with skinny red ribbon. Decorate 2 mason jars with accent heart decals & use heart sticks to dress-up the jars. Bake some delicious Valentine’s Day desserts. ❤️ Place them on decorative plates and sprinkle your table with conversation hearts or foam glitter hearts.
Lastly, if you want to create additional Valentine decorations, string sparkly red tulle across your ceiling and use a fake red rose as your focal point along with hanging foam glitter hearts. Hope you find these ideas helpful! Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day party with your friends, family, and loved ones!
