Easy Blackberry French Toast

Yummy Blackberry French Toast!
Ingredients
- Dry ingredients: cinnamon, apple pie spice
- 1/2 cup half/half
- 12 slices of brioche bread
- 1 pack of fresh blackberries
- 1 tub of cool whip topping
- 12 eggs
- 3 tsp. sugar
- 1 to 2 tsp. of butter
- maple syrup
- 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
Directions
- Blackberry French Toast
- In a bowl, crack 12 egg yolks, add 1/2 cup of half/half, 1 tsp. of vanilla extract, dash of apple pie spice and whisk together.
- On medium heat, add 1 to 2 tsp. of butter to a cast iron pan. Dip slice of brioche bread in egg mixture on both sides.
- Add to pan and cook on each side for 3-5 minutes or until fully cooked. Add a dash of cinnamon on top.
- In a separate sauce pan on medium heat, add pack of blackberries and 3 tsp. of sugar. Stir for 5-10 minutes. Reduce heat to a shimmer.
- Serve french toast with a spoonful of blackberry sauce, maple syrup and a dolap of cool whip.
Pairs nicely with chorizo casserole & fruit parfait.
