Accompanying our Easter meal is this citrusy asparagus dish cooked in bacon grease is really good.

Ingredients

  • A pack of pre-chopped Asparagus
  • 2 drops of lemon juice
  • Lemon pepper, salt
  • (bacon grease from other Easter side dish)

Directions

  1. Immediately after I cooked the bacon from the previous Easter recipes I added the asparagus to the pan and cooked
  2. on medium heat for 2-5 minutes.
  3. Add 2 drops of lemon juice, pinch of salt, and lemon pepper to the asparagus and stir for 2-5 minutes.
  4. Lower the heat and let it cook for 10- 15 minutes or until softened.
